Dear Colleagues and Students,
I invite you to join a long-term online training program in Group Positive Psychotherapy. This is already the second intake; the first one is successfully underway.
I have been practicing psychotherapy for 28 years, and for 25 of those years, I have been teaching and providing supervision.
Since 1998, I have been continuously running psychotherapeutic groups. Today, I facilitate 6 ongoing therapy groups (both in-person and online) and 5 supervision groups, not to mention various training programs.
In short, I know a thing or two about groups. I have rich therapeutic experience, I am very fond of group work, and I highly recommend it.
In my opinion, the future belongs to group psychotherapy! It is one of the best ways to get to know yourself by immersing yourself in regular, reflective interaction.
I recommend that everyone try a course of group therapy at least once in their life. I assure you, many discoveries await you.
This course is designed for professionals (psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and psychologists). We will study the theory, but most importantly, you will learn group work from the inside by being a participant in a group.
Depending on the number of participants, we will form parallel groups of 8 people for the practical part. For the theoretical sessions, everyone will be able to attend together, while for the practice, each participant will join their designated small group.
The program is designed for 1 year and comprises 200 hours.
This includes:
• 53 hours of theory (20 sessions of 2 hours each)
• 132 hours of practice (50 sessions of 2 hours each)
• 50 hours dedicated to literature study and reflective reports
Yes, after each session, you will need to write a reflective report. There will be 50 in total, one for each therapeutic session.
For the first 5 months (20 weeks), theory and practice will run in parallel (2 hours of theory and 2 hours of practice per week).
The following 6 months will be dedicated to practical work in the group, including role rotation, changing groups, co-therapy, and processing.
The participation fee is 40 euro per two-hour theory or practice session.
Upon completion, a certificate of participation will be issued, indicating the hours that can be counted as Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
If you are interested in joining the program, please message me privately, preferably on Telegram.
Admission to the program is based on a brief introductory interview.
The program will start as soon we collect a group of interested. Lectures are tentatively planned for Mondays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Moscow time. The final schedule will be confirmed once we have a clear understanding of the number of participants.
